1.jpg) [ God knows my heart ]3 days ago, my "latest" 1.5 yrs old niece visited my house. but well, she didn't even come to me. she kept crying whenever someone tried to pass her to me. She was avoiding me at all cost. But well i realised that she was avoiding me, cos she hardly recognizes me. People who know me well enough will know that i'm rather very-close to my family. Esp with my older nephew and niece; since they grew up in my house (til recently). But whenever they see me, they will stick to me like leeches. haha. sweet leeches though! But to the contrary, my youngest niece couldn't even recognize me as she grows up. This made me ponder. It didn't take me very long to realise that i had not been spending much time with my family the past couple of months since i started teaching and leading cell. Stating excuses is easy, but overcoming them is reality. So i was feeling rather low about it. In a corner of my heart, i wished i had more time to spent with my mum, nephew and nieces. Thurs was stil school holiday, after National Day. I have no idea why? But my sister left my niece and domestic helper at my house. Neither my mum nor i asked her to bring the kid. So i was a litttle astonished with this out-of-the-ordinary act. Nonetheless, i had the whole day with my niece and i spent it ALL on her. By the end of the day, she started sticking to me! That's when i sensed a gentle voice impressing on my heart. " Son, i know your heart. I will Honour you, as you Honour Me. " I knew that God knew my heart, and brought my niece home. My eyes was filled with His love. The 56-year-old Collins recently addressed the clash of science and religion during a conference at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. But his most complete argument for God appears in a new book, The Language Of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief, which addresses two radically divergent audiences: He asks scientific sceptics to investigate God with the same open-minded zeal they apply to the natural world. And he tells fellow evangelicals that opposition to evolution undermines the credibility of faith. But scientists are probably the tougher audience. According to Nature, the science weekly, "many scientists disagree strongly" with Collins-style arguments and critics feel "more talk of religion is the last thing that science needs". As a medical student, Dr Collins wondered why patients who were suffering and dying retained faith in God. He realised that as a scientist, "You are not supposed to decide something is true until you have looked at the data. And yet I had become an atheist without ever looking at the evidence whether God exists or not". On Saturday evening, there was a miracle service held as a closure for the Asia Pacific FIRE Conference 2006. a couple of enthusiast young men was there to catch the fire from Reinhard Bonnke.
The Worship was led by “Open the eyes of my heart” Paul Baloche. He led all of us into the extraordinary presence of God, helping us to just relax and bask with the attitude of worship. There was a lot of joy in my heart when I sang on to God, “la lala lala lalala la” in the tune of “yes sir, yes sir, yes yes sir.” SIMPLY wonderful!  The perspectives of Reinhard Bonnke never fails to capture me. Listen to this. (1) If billions of people can be saved in two years. God can save the entire Singapore within an afternoon. (2) We preach the same gospel as the apostles. So we should be getting the same things as the Apostles. (3) Let the devil sit alone in Hell. (4) Jesus often can’t wait for preachers to finish our boring sermons, he starts working even before we finish. (5) Other Evangelists are colleagues pulling the same net. They are my colleagues not competitors. We are all labourers in the field. (6) By the year 2008, the entire China will be painted red with the blood of Christ and will be His! (7) The Royalties charges for my books don’t belong to me. It belongs to the cross.  The FIRES of Evangelism ! - John 4. She knew nothing abt theology- But she brought all the men to come and see Jesus. Jesus saves sinners to save sinners. - Exodus 3. Moses at the burning bush was attracted by it for it was not really burning. Burning bush common but what was uncommon is this bush was not burning. Mighty meeting- God said 'I've come down to deliver my people'. - Deut 33:16. Favor of Him that dwelt in burning bush. Moses spoke of that Favor. Favor to israel and suffering catasthropies to egypt. God did not hate eygpt. God hates no nations. Jonah was sent to preach to most rotten nation. Why is favor on israel? Eygpt only suffered something of God's is in its hands. If you mess with God- better think twice. Eygpt was stucked because His people belonged to Him. It doesnt matter who you are, matters who I AM. Moses want to fufil His calling. No sneaking or secrets. God will back us up. Never mess with a man who is in love (God loves His people). Reflect Jesus in our lives. Cause people will be saved, demons will tremble. Jesus lives in our hearts, and will look out of the window once in a while. - Matt 3:11. He will baptise you in HolySpirit and Fire. Baptism 200years ago was not used in a religious context. Baptism means to immerse or to dip. It was commonly used in the trade of making fabric showing a little dip into the dye. The favric is dipped into the dye, til its fully immersed, and the dye goes into the fabric. The dye goes into every nook and corner in the fabric cloth. Eventually, the cloth will look like and smell like the dye; absorbing the properties of the dye. Likewise, we will all look like fire, since we are baptised with fire. Flies (demons) can only sit on a cold stove. When the fire is turned on, the flies will be chased away. Therefore, Pray the Gospel, Preach the Gospel & Witness the Gospel. On Saturday afternoon, a special Youth Rally (free admission) was held to inspire our Youths.
The worship was led by David Yeo from Cornerstone Church who anchored the Youth Rally. A variety of God inspired songs were sung among songs from Ignite Network’s new album, “Revival.” Surely those present will testify God’s glorious presence that filled up the place during the worship.  Peter van den Berg spoke about IMAGE – Our identity in God. It sounded like another conventional sermon for me, but I learnt something too. What defines who you are? Looks? Hair style? Clothes? Brands? (With regards to brands, he said “why wear something with other people’s name on it? And in addition, pay so much.”) He emphasized that whatever that we do to enjoy ourselves don’t define who we are. But it’s the identity of wearing Jesus inside of us. Not materialistic things we wear outside. The confidence of Jesus allows you to be what He wants you to be. Definitely, not based on what people say about you. Jonathan, friend of David (1 Samuel) defined himself based on WHO GOD IS. He said, “I know my God” and went forward to attack the enemies despite of his petite size. That is how he defined himself. I KNOW MY GOD! This will allow us to do anything that God ask us to do.
